Asteya (Non-stealing, Integrity)

In difficult times we may have a tendency to pull in.
But this is the time to be generous - to give. It is a practice of our generosity.

This Yama (non-stealing) overlaps non-attachment

Stealing someone elses time or interrupting are forms of taking.

Consider the 3 second rule.
Wait 3 seconds after someone is done speaking before interjecting your thoughts.

Align your actions with your good intentions

Have no hidden agenda. What you see is what you get.

Authenticity over authority

The integrity people percieve you as is your honorability

Do the best you can do without taking situations or others for granted.

Look at it as giving rather than not taking.
Like other Yamas - consider their opposites.
